Saabs go through autos like kids with shoes. 900s will do it, 9000s will do it, and the early 90s incarnations blew the first ones at 30-40k. In your case, the trans actually waited a long time to go bad. Ben Michael wrote in message <6728-3872041C-10nopsamefull-147.iap.bryant.webtv.net>... I bought my '95 9000 (non-turbo) last year with an automatic transmission. It now has 85K miles on it and it's in the shop for a new transmission. Is this normal? I certainly would expect something like this had I owned an american car, but a Saab? Thanks in advance for any input.
