I found with my 94 CSE that it takes two or three attemps to get a response when recalibrating or when programing the climate control system. When they say simultaneously they mean precisely simultaneous. It seems like the two buttons have to be released exactly at the same time. When it succeeds the LEDs will flash. Good luck, Ramsey Frist
