The headlights on my '86 900 occasionally will not turn off. This happens when the car is shut off with the lights on. (The headlights on this model normally turn off when the key is turned off.) When the light switch is turned off, the taillights go out, but the headlights stay on. If the car is re-started, driven a little, then the lights can be turned off.
