I used Slick 50 in an old Delta 88 from 67 with oil consumption like an old
transport ship. I noticed no difference in performance, compression, or
anything else.

Maybe it was just beyond repair.

I did once read that slick 50 actually was harmful for your engine. I don't
remember where though, sorry.
