If you are going to go with a 195/60-15 size tire, you might want to give the Dunlop D60A2 tires a look. I just put a set on my 87 9000S. They handle very well in the wet, on dry roads and ride quietly. Their traction rating is A or AA and the wear rating is 320. That means they should last 40,000 to 50,000 miles unless you drive very hard. I paid less than $270 for a set of four, mounted and out the door.
