Subject: Re: Cellular antenna pre-wire in 2000 93SE

To answer your question: My 2000 93 SE has a pre-wired microphone, and the Saab adapter harness integrates directly to it and the audio system. Like I said, I had to splice the connections myself but it was not too bad. I tossed the Nokia microphone and speaker after salvaging the 2.5 mm, and 3.5 mm audio connectors to splice into the car harness. I could find no evidence whatsoever of a pre-wired antenna run. I did however install a very slick Swedish dual-band cellular antenna. It's very small, about three inches tall, and the European connector on the head end mated directly to the Euro-spec connector on the Nokia car adapter antenna cable. The overall install is completely invisible, and it appears as if it were delivered from the factory with phone installed. The audio system pass through works flawlessly, and the sound quality both from the speakers and to listeners via the installed cabin microphone is excellent. -- Regards, David dbayendornopsamhlink.net "Paul Geller" <pgellernopsamhlink.net> wrote in message news:Dvwh4.806$D4.23125nopsamread1.prod.itd.earthlink.net... > Did yours actually have a microphone and mic wire?
