I replaced the stock seats in a Volvo and a Saab with Recaro Sport LS. The best money I ever spent. The Recaros are firm and supports, especially with the big side bolsters. The nice thing about these on a long trip is that you can just lay back and the seat will keep your back straight and relaxed all day. If you are into curves and twists, you really need these Recaros. The best stock seats, in my opinion, are the Volvo. While they do not have the bolsters, the 240 series was really never known as to handle a turn like it was on tracks. As I have stated before, if you want to keep your driver's license in the US, you cannot drive even close the limits any of the three cars. This includes handling on turns, top end speed and acceleration out of a light. I would base my choice on a balance of cost and reliability. Then I would go out a buy an old 900 to drive in the snow so you would not rust out a good BMW, Volvo or Aero. Do you want to buy my 5-speed '86 900? Great snow car with Pirelli Winter 190s. You could park it anywhere and not have to worry about scratches, dents or theft.
