Subject: I got you beat!
I went down for a chevy steering hub adapter - called ahead "dick" was
gonna hold it at the counter. I got there and it was the wrong one it
was a ford one, didn't have a chevy one! I called for the boss - he
listened and gave me a ice scraper cause "bob" couldn't read. So I asked
for a locking gas cap for my new saab. It took another sallow youth to
get this as "bob" was a domestic parts guy only. Another 20 minutes at
the counter for the foriegn guy todig it up.
I stood in checkout line for 30 minutes - 4 people were getting very
slow angry refunds. One cashier on duty only. Boss was up there for
three of the four refunds. One was a core refund!
I went out to my car screwed in the cap and tried locking it it would
not lock. I took it out of the car to check it again nope lock was
frozen - defective.
SO I went back in the store and asked for a refund - cashier said no,
the box had a 1/4" tear in the lid. I said well the box wasn't the
problem - the part is defective. No! I said well you need to get your
boss then. The boss comes, says "give him another one or a refund", and
walks away after I asked him if I got another Ice scraper.
The cashier asks for the recipt and tells she can't give me refund cause
I bought it on my credit card - she can only credit back my card.....I
said whatever do it. She then tells the boss has approve it - I said go
fetch him up here then. 6 people were behind me. 17 minutes later the
boss comes up and signs it - 12 people waiting on me. SO I go to leave
with my Ice scraper and the cashier starts yelling - as I'm shop lifting
the Ice scraper.........The boss tells her to let me go.... I put ice
scraper into the trash.
