Mikael, I hate to tell you, but Volvo's high-pressure turbo inline engines give more kick than the turbo 9000. Back in 1994, Car and Driver proclaimed the Volvo 850 Turbo the fastest mass produced sedan on the planet. Volvo has added more and more torque and horses to these engines since then. The 9000 turbo moved quite well especially considering its size but in terms of speed, there are turbo Volvos that are faster (the most recent ones don't give the same visceral sensation of the hornets nest sounding turbo Volvos from ~1994 but they are actually faster).
