I (we all ) have tried many temporary fixes (you are talking about a 900 classic right) but ultimately the best way is to replace the entire assembly. You can replace one knob or the whole panel ... either way you have to pull the panel .. whic in turn will require pulling the most of the dash. get the parts from a junkyard. And replace those tiny little bulbs while you have out .. I know you have a few that are burned out :-) I would set aside a warm saturday afternoon for the job. have fun! * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network *The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
