Hi! I have a 1972 Saab 96! Anyone ever see one of those? They were great cars! Anyway, I am going to resurrect my old friend. It has been sitting since 1987. I know the carb needs to be rebuilt as there was no gas getting to it the last time I tried to start it. The motor was strong w/103k on it and the 4 speed on the column had just been rebuilt. I know I am looking at some brake work and new tires as well. Does anyone know of a checklist of things to investigate when bringing an older auto. back to life? I know allot can go wrong when a car sits but they were much simpler cars back then as well. Thanks! Vince P.S. I will try to get a pic up on the web soon and I will post the address!
