Simon, I do understand what you are saying, but if you are here in the States you have to realize that the Haynes 9000 manual was originally published for the UK/Euro market. Apparently Saab did not want us upstart Americans working on our 9000s. God forbid we cut back on dealer service department profit margins. But the manual is what it is, and all the complaining about it is not going to change a thing. If you think the Haynes is sketchy, you should see a Chilton manual. I saw one in a Strauss Auto Parts store in Staten Island, NY. The manual has a section on Saabs. It gives more info about the older 900s and mentions the 9000. It makes the Haynes Manual look like an encylopeidea. Your other alternative is to go a dealer and buy the shop manuals. I think they are waiting and hope your Visa card is not maxxed out. I knew you would like the coloring book.
