Hi I replaced my standard air filter in my 1994 900S with at K&N replacement filter some two years ago. The only change I detected was a little quicker acceleration, but I think I would have felt this just by replacing the old paper filter anyway. I might just have gotten used to it, but I don't think there is any gain now, as time has gone by. Anyway, as another post have mentioned, there is clearly other reasons for putting in the K&N filter: - You don't have to change filter anymore, just clean it - It saves you money in the long run - The air flow is better than an ordinary filter when it's not new (or in the K&N case: not newly cleaned) I would say: Go for the K&N regards Lars Baekgaard Denmark Paul Hutchings <paul.hutchingsnopsam.co.uk> wrote in message news:0ketbs81qgb0j990fs0e11oujmcunp4gs2nopsamcom... > Sorry if this is an often asked question - Deja seemed to return > *anything* containing the letter K and N :-) > > Would there be a noticable imporvement replacing the standard filter > on my 95 900i with something from K&N or equivelent ?
