Subject: noise when turning

My '94 9000 Turbo (60,000 miles) has started making an odd noise when turning left. No... I don't think it's CV Joints, no clicking sounds or any other noise at all when I make slow tight circles. It seems to be sort of a metallic sounding scraping noise that is low volume (can barely hear it over the engine noise - or take it out of gear to hear). I can't hear anything at low speed, or high speed, but at about 25 mph it makes the sound: scrape...scrape...scrape...scrape. It sounds a little like a bad wheel bearing, but can't hear it when going straight (while rocking the car side to side, or not). It is only audible when turning to the left, but doesn't take a big turn to hear it. Just turning the wheel a 20-30 degrees makes the sound (I can make the sound swerving right and left with in my lane). I can't figure this out.
