go for the Saab. The Saab turbo engine uses a low-pressure turbo (not much difference between 8V and 16V Saab turbo's) and is a joy to drive; if you like hgher revs (not needed in a convertible IMO), go for the Bimmer. Normally Saab convertibles are very well equipped but be sure that everything works, especially the power items and the AC because they are rather expensive to fix. Have the car checked by a Saab mechanic before you buy it, it can save lots of money. Normally the engine itself lasts for some 100.000 Kms but other things like APC box etc can fail.
