So far, so good. I would have to agree. It seems like 99.99% of all electrical problems have something to do with a bad ground/earth/negative connection. Since electrons (in a DC system as is found in autos) move from negative to positive, most problems are found on the negative side of the circuit. This is due to the electrolytic/galvanic corrosion that occurs when 2 or more metals of dis-similar composition are joined and *ANY* moisture is present. >Tio barry >Tony Leggatt <Tonynopsamatt60.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message >news:8b8rei$c0q$1nopsam7.svr.pol.co.uk... >> Hi, >> >> Wifes 9000 is behaving slightly oddly. >> >> Sometimes we have a total electrical failure, take the battery out, find >> that it's fully charged, put it back and lo and behold everything works. >> >> Can't see any obviously loose connections and it has never happened when >the >> car is running - only when we come to start it. >> >> Any ideas? >> >> >> Cheers >> >> >> >> Tony >> >> >> >> > -- "Our eyes and hands and feet will give us the same assistance in doing mischief as in doing good; but it would not therefore be better for the world, that all mankind were blind and lame.
