Can anyone help me to diagnose the power loss I've written about before, on my 89 9000i, when I drive around a corner and need to power away it just dies, still manages to tickover but only just, then gradually inches away. I think it has to do with the crud build up on the wire inside the airflow meter, but I don't want to pour cleaning liquids on it if it will damage the surface of the wire and the electronics in the circuit board.
