My 89 9000S (103K) has started stalling on the road. At first I thought it had to do with the running the car low on gas. The past week since it first stalled on me I've been driving it on a full tank. And it seemed to be fine until I realized the tank was low and it happened again yesterday. What happens is I would drive five miles or more and I feel a hesitation. The upshift comes on and the check engine light comes on and the car goes dead. If I try starting it right after it stalls, nothing happens. I turn the key and NOTHING. It's like it just won't turn over. If I wait fifteen minutes or more it starts. I thought it could be I needed a new fuel filter but the mechanic said it might be related to the computer. Appreciate any input. Joel
