What a quandary :). We have a SAAB 9-5 Wagon and we love it. We also have a Toyota Celica convertible. I would say that you would not go wrong with either car, but they are different animals. Do you need the larger car? Do you frequently haul things where the extra room is needed? Do you have a large family? Do you carry around a lot of friends? If you don't need the extra room, then I would go for the 9-3 convertible, but be prepared to have a convertible the rest of your life :).
