Subject: Re: My 83 900 is getting old, and Axle question...

I had bad CV joint in my Saab and asked the same question at the repair shop. They said it could get real interesting if the CV joint locks up at 60 MPH. Ask the shop that told you about the CV joint how safe it is to drive with the car in its current condition. If you want, you could even take it to another shop for another opinion. If you want to keep driving the car, you probably should get the CV joints replaced. The problem is that since you posted this note already, it is obvious that you know you are driving a car with problems. If you get into an accident because of this problem and hurt someone, you would have to live with that fact and the lawyers could have a field day with you. SC wrote: > I have a 1983 900.
