Subject: Re: 9000 Water Pump replacement Question

If you mean the rigid hose that runs between the fan belt and around to the back of the engine ---- it will just come away when you remove the pump. the O ring fits on the end of it. Hope this helps, I have changed the water pump on my `88 9000 recently, not too difficult. Removing the front wheel and inner wheel arch cover makes it easier Regards Dave. Mark H.
