hello, I bought the Saab I was looking at (thanks to all those who chipped in with advice). its an '87 Turbo S (16v) w/ 120,000 miles on it. does anyone have a good listing of parts places on the web? I'm sure I'll need it sooner or later I have a couple questions/problems with/concerning it. the first is that while the rack seems to be ok (as in doesn't >seem< to be leaking), the tie-rod ends are sloppy (at least that is what I presume is the source of the slack in the steering) and wondered if anyone had had that job done on the car. was it expensive (parts/labor)? also, what about the belts? I have at least one that squeals a little bit (haven't checked them for tension yet), and was wondering how hard are they, really, to change. it doesn't look any fun. the last concerns the turbo. when I accelerate hard I get a lurching at higher boost/rpm points, but just running it at a high rpm but no load (like downshifting several gears) doesn't seem to have any problems. is this a fuel delivery problem, or rev/rpm limiter? the "lurching" seems to happen about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through the "orange" marking on the boost gauge. thanks to any who read this, and more thanks to any who can help me with even some partial answers/info. -- Nate t.
