Geoff, If you're taking your car to a saab dealer to check the engine light. Request that they contact Saab Technical Service. I have a Saab 900 SE (1996). For the 3 years I've had my Saab (I bought it new), I've had to take the car in for the check engine light about 20 times. Back in February, my car was in the shop for 3 weeks. Finally the saab technician from Atlanta, GA came down to NY to fix the car. However, the problem didn't go away, since they re-wired the car in February, I've gone back 2 times more for the check engine. And the killer is, they never know what causes the problem. They reset, unplug this, plug that.. etc.. and if the light goes away. It's consider fix. Other then the check engine light, I love driving the Saab. The car handles nice but they've got to do something about the check engine light. Good luck! -I Geoff Waters wrote in message <38FCFAD0.E39DFE3Dnopsamdnet.att.net>... >Well some may remember my question a month or so ago about >the "check engine" light on my 96 900 SE 2.0t.
