Subject: Engine power and stereo power problem

I am having a very weird problem. I have an after market JVC CD player that says "SEE YOU" when I turn my '87 SAAB 900 off. If I unplug the constant power or unplug the 15A fuse, this message doesn't appear and I loose all memory. This isn't happening. What is happening, however, is on occassion, my dome light and stereo turn themselves off. I know that it isn't their mutual circuit because I don't loose my stereo's memory and the clock in my tach. continues to work and I get the aformentioned "SEE YOU" message, so I know that some electricity continues to flow. Today, I noticed something very weird. When going at slow speeds (especially after starting), my car will lurch. That is, it will kind of jerk forward repeatedly instead of steadily moving forward. While this lurching is happening, my heater fans are low and I can't turn on the stereo. After a quarter of a minute, the stereo turns on, and the heater comes on full blast and the car drives smoothly. It also seems to be taking longer to start and wants to die when it starts lately. Ideas? Please cc: c_a_nowellnopsamail.com Thanks, -Chris
