Subject: ABS & brake warning lights delay

My ABS & brake warning lights seem to take an age to go out (30-60 sec) on my 1990 900 turbo 16S. I know the ABS may take time to pressurize, but the delay seems to be getting longer. When I first bought the car 6 months ago the brake warning light would come on sporadically when driven hard until I topped up the brake fluid reservoir to max (it was only just below max anyway). As this is my first 900 I wondered if this was normal. Thanks for any replies David
