Subject: Time for service?



I have a Canadian model 2000 9-3 picked in Trolhattan through 
the SAAB IDS program.

Odometer is in km.  Manual states that 2d maintainance is at
16,000 km (i.e., translation of 10,000 mi).

Car just reached 15,000 km.  Time for service warning came up.

So, questions:

(1) Are all Canadian models like that?

(2) Are US models also like that (i.e., does the warning also
appear around 9300 mi)?
