Been a long time, but from what I remember it was a "ghost" author. Many though it was John Kenneth Galbraith. Anyway, the book is still available, probably through some "right-wing booksellers." It was about a group of "high IQ" types that were sequestered in Iron Mountain, located in New York back during the Kennedy Administration time period. All I can remember now is that the main thrust of the book was that this group was given the task of figuring out a "valid" explanation for the "justification" of a One World Government. Since protecting us from space aliens was not a valid reason, what they came up with is this environmental crap. The reasoning went something like, it would take a world government to keep things in order on earth because pollution strays beyond international borders, etc., etc. When you look at the last 30 years of propaganda, concerning "pollution," etc., it makes the book look pretty legitimate now. Think there is anything to it???? Nah! Conspiracy theories are just a bunch of bull anyway. Right? Just ask the media and Rush Limbaugh (thinking with only half his brain all the time).
