The 1994 model was the first year of the new body style for the 900 model, and yes, the car had more than its fair share of problems. Saab had most of them sorted out by 1996 and 1997. The latest, the 9-3 is a rebadged 900 with a lot of changes. They caught up with the remaining problems on the 900 and created a coupld of new ones. The old addage is never by the first model year.
