Michael: I have put about 5000 miles on my Viggen and although there is torque steer, I would hardly say it is "undrivable". There is no problem controlling the car if you modulate the accelerator. If all you are capable of doing is smashing your foot to the floor you probably shouldn't be driving a car with much horsepower. I have a similar problem with my Corvette when I floor it; it's just at the back end of the car.
