Subject: Proper octane for Saab 9-3 ?

What is the proper fuel grade (octane level) for a 2000 Saab 9-3 base model (2.0 Turbo 185 hp)? The dealer said regular (87 octane in the U.S.) is all that's needed, but the owner's manual says "90 AON, unleaded gasoline, minimum 87 AON". Does that mean I should be using 89 octane in the U.S.? I've been using both and haven't really noticed any difference so far. -- Jonathan Schilling jlsnopsamcom Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
