I also have a 89 9000i and two of my window motor mounts in my LH front door broke, when I was replacing I remembered reading a T.S.B on slow operating windows and how to adjust them. But what they didn't say was how the old grease on the window guide dried ,so I cleaned it and regreased it, also cleaned black felt window weather strips, now works like new, well not bad considering the age.Try it only a hour out of your life.
