Brady, I would first check to see if there is power at the motor before doing anything else as of yet. Unplug the motor and check the 3 terminals of the cable supplying the motor. All of then will read 0 volts initially. When the switch is pressed to either 'up' or 'down', there will be 12 volts across 2 of the 3 terminals of the cable leading to the motor. In the other direction, there will be 12 volts across 2 of the terminals. You could easily buy a test light if you do not have a volt meter. If this checks out, check the motor. If not, check further along to see where the wires are broken. A likely suspect is the bundle leading to the door from the bulkhead.
