Hi, I agree with the other posts (though worn CV joints tend to "click" rather than "grind") but you might also check to see if you have accumulated enough rust on the perimeter of you brake disks so that you're getting light contact with the brake pads when turning tight circles. Tap it away with a hammer. If you're getting the noises even while standing still, then I'd put my money on Carl's diagnosis (power steering).
