I am new to Saabs > and would like some advise on what to look out for. > Just so you have another data point: I purchased a 93 9000 Aero in 1996, with 30k miles. I now have 92k on the car. I have spent $10,500 in repairs (no that is not a misprint). Among other failures: broken timing chain, at 60k miles, this cost $3500 to repair fuel injectors at 85k, $900 climate control computer at 75k, $800 (after warrantee coverage!) heater core exhaust system endless vacuum hoses two ABS wheel sensors air bag control box Clarion CD player driver side window motor controller $350 head gasket at 45k (warrantee repair) Lambda probe (oxygen sensor) every 20k miles, $200 defective wire inside main harness for low-speed radiator fan (this one took a really long time to find and was certainly a factory defect) water pump Anyways, you get the idea. The point is that Saabs seem to be really really good, or really really bad. Unless you know the history of the car or are prepared to deal with the bills I'd suggest a nice Volvo. I'm certainly not buying another one of these things!!!!! Jeremy
