Subject: Re: stereo upgrade

There are no line outs on the stereo, it has a DIN plug there is some guy on www.saabnet.com who has a Saab audio page that talks all about it Richard Beevan or something, I ordered a cable from Saab and then had to cut it apart and run it into a junction box and put RCA connectors on the box. It was quite a project , but the only way to do it, if you take your car to a car audio shop they will simply put a HIGH/LOW converter on your speaker cables converting it into a preamp signal which sounds like garbage and send you on your way. They will tell you that its not that noticeable of a difference etc. to talk you into it. But take my word, those things are junk, if you do go with a high low converter don't bother spending money on any good gear because no matter what you throw in there it will sound like crap if its on the other end of a Hi/lo converter. I will try to get some pictures of what I did to share with other people out there. My two cents, Ryan I should start marketing my din/pre-amp converter for the Saab factory radio. I am sure that tons of people want better sound but like the look of their factory radio. You know what.. I think I have a plan =) <niffelnopsameja.com> wrote in message news:8i8omf$e2k$1nopsam1.deja.com... > I've got a 96 900S Conv.
