Subject: Bying used 85' 9000 Turbo...what to look for?

Hi SAAB comunity! I stumbled across this nice looking 85' 9000 turbo for very little money (~2000$). Catch is that car has 360000km on clock (230k miles). Car runs well, manual tranny is a bit wobbly (as all SAAB transmissions), engine has original (oil-cooled?) turbo(!) and produces decent push in the back, but only at higher RPM's. It has always being run on synthetic oil and properly idled before shutdown (That's probably reason that original turbo still works). Electrics are in various shape of decay, but all main things work. There is AC , cruise-conrol, moonroof and (ugly) leather seats (aftermarket installed). Brake-discs need to be changed soon. No visible oil-leeks, body is rusted a bit here and there, but nothing special. Tranny grinds sometimes when i put it into reverse despite clutch being depressed. Power-steering pump is quite audible at low speeds and a bit heavy before pressure builds up. But car runs , and is pretty fast for a price. So what should i do? It's my first SAAB but i'm pretty handy. Should i go for it? Thank you!
