I have been a classic 900 owner and driver since '84, I've had an '84 900S, '84 900T, 3 '85 900T, ( 2 I totaled, one in the US, one in Germany,) and an'88 900T Convertible. I still have the third 900 I've owned. An '85 900T, that I bought used, with 18,000 miles on it, it now has a conservative estimate of 250,000, and the head has never been off it. Now transaxles, that's another story, (just ask and I'll tell it.) I practically made a living working on Classic 900's during my last tour in Germany. From my experience head gasket failure on these cars is always between cylinders 2 & 3 and caused by an improperly maintained cooling system, not hard driving. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
