hello, as the pervious poster said - (and adding my own emphasis) there is something REALLY, REALLY wrong with the system if you can't brake and use the clutch at the same time. this could be a serious safetty hazard. for an emergency quick-stop you often need to hit the clutch and brake simultaneously, or any time when you are slowing down some and need a lower gear (say, coming down a little hill with a curve and another hill at the foot of the first hill). check fluid levels, and what not - but get this checked-out/fixed VERY soon. if the system is failing you might suddenly loose your brakes, or clutch all together. -- Nate t.
