The smells were accompanied by rough running at low speed, due to wrong back-pressure; but SAAB engines may not be set up the same (ie, I don't know if there is automatic compensation for b-p in them). HTH, anyhow. But if you are getting that stuff into the seating area, don't mess about, get it seen to. There could be CO in it. -- Andrew Stephenson
