Subject: Does anyone autocross with their SAAB or get any track time?

I'm currently auto-xing my M3. My lease on the M3 is coming up. Unfortunately, it may be time for a dreaded SUV (to trailer a boat). My wife's SAAB 9-3 intrigues me, its a very practical and comfortable car. Could this car be used for motorsport fun? Is anyone out there auto-xing or going to driving schools in their SAABs? The suspension is soft as it is, are performance parts available for 9-3s (ie. adjustable shocks, sway bars, etc.). We have a '99 9-3 base model (not the sports suspension). Is their much adjustment in the front and rear camber? What's the difference between the "plain Jane" 9-3 and the SE (shocks, wheels, springs?)? Alternatively, could a 9-3 tow a 2500 lb load safely (yes, I know that's over the book tow weight (hence the need for an SUV)? Any help appreciated. Piete
