Well, if you have the time to spend on it, this is what I did. The whole roof liner should come out of your car in one piece after removing the visors, roof handles and rear view mirror. I then removed the fabric and then the old foam with a stiff brush. The roof liner is made out of some sort of porous compressed fiberglass material so I sealed it with 3 or 4 coats of latex house paint. once dried I used a funky floral on black material and Elmer's aresol spray glue, attached it to the liner and re-installed it. I've had a lot of compliments on it. The attached picture was taken at night, dosen't do the roof justice....
