hello, it still sounds like the AIC valve to me. what part of your reading in the Haynes manual (not really a totaly trustworthy manual for Saabs) made you unsure? is there something mentioned in the manual that would make you think the AIC is not at fault? note: for a good laugh (only when you weren't relying on it) check out the plug wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual. the firing order is correct (they'd have to be REALLY stupid to get that wrong), but the #1 location is wrong, as are other details. i had to do it by "educated/smart" trial and error. just to point out that the Haynes isn't totally accurate always. -- Nate t.
