Subject: Finding Top Dead Center on 900 Distributor

Hi guys Just thought I would let everyone know this hint since I didn't have a repair manaul. If you are ever stuck and your spark plug wires are out of order. (An unlikely scenario, I know) Luckily Saab stamps the firing order of the pistons (1-3-4-2 on my 1985 8-valve 4-cylinder 900) on the valve cover But if you take off the distributor cap and remove the dustcover, you will see a nick in the metal rim of the distibutor. this is TDC or Top Dead Center and that tells you where piston #1 spark plug wire should go. pretty slick Ryan
