By just using the key, I also don't have to remember whether I set the alarm with the remote or the key. An aside, are you aware that there is an interior motion sensor in the 9-5? I have twice locked my teenager in the car (because she'd rather sit and read than accompany me) while I ran into the store. She twice set off the alarm by simply moving about inside the car. See your owner's manual for temporarily disabling the interior motion sensor when locking kids or pets in the car. I am puzzled why there is an interior motion alarm. Does Saab expect us to accidentally lock burglars in the car? Karen
