Subject: 9.3 SE audio system

just got my new 2000 9.3 se. replaced the 87 900S 180,000 miles with the dead tranny. picked it up yesterday; first 200 miles were a blast. i'm wondering what suggestions have been bandied about here about improving the audio system. it seems that they wasted perfectly good door speaker space with the subwoofers, which can be in the trunk or any hidden away spot. in my 900, i used the 4x10's, the dash 4" (or whatever), driven by the head, and two satellite tweeters and a sub in the trunk, each driven by their own amp. sounded great. i'm not too keen on changing the head unit; even though it seems a bit limited in terms of features, it's all integrated in the display and the steering wheel. but, i'm very interested in a discussion here about how to jack up the sound in the 9.3 se. (by the way, i have the dash cd and no changer.) happy saabing larry
