Paul... My timing chain went bad on my 94 900S about a year or so ago at about 55K miles. But it didn't give out suddenly...it started to make all sorts of noise...which served as fair warning in my case. I brought it into the shop whereupon I was hosed only for the cost of replacing the chain. If yours broke suddenly without warning...causing all sorts of extra repair expense, I think you may have a legitimate issue with the dealer or Saab. More seasoned hands may check in with a different opinion of course. -- Michael McWilliams Cohasset, MA USA Paul Munro <romunnopsamond.com> wrote in message news:Mzsf5.19058$c5.51622nopsamfeeds.bigpond.com... > Hey, has anyone else ever had a timing chain 'break' on them?
