Subject: 1995 900SE Clutch

Hi All, I bought this Saab used about 6 months ago and could tell at the time that the clutch wasn't going to last long (50k miles city driving). It finally dropped out at about 60k miles and I had my local dealer replace it (the plates). Now, several months later, the clutch seems to be out of adjustment (you can't press the pedal far enough). The clutch cable appeared to be very worn so I had a local mechanic replace it, but this was obviously not the problem, and there appears to be no adjustment on the cable. We called the local dealer who replaced the cluctch a couple of months (not telling him that he had just replaced this clutch) and he says that the clutch needs to be replaced. I'm going to take it in to him shortly and we'll see what the story is. Any speculation as to what may have gone wrong? Mechanic error? Bad parts? I'll follow up with the details, good or bad, when I know more. Thanks for any advice.
