Their suspension (struts+springs) greatly enhance road holding, while giving a bearable level of comfort. Beware of do-it-yourself spring and gas absorbers choice, you're more likely to end up with questionable roadholding and an unbearably harsh ride. Abbott knows their stuff. > > 2. BTW here in Greece the original Saab oil for turbo motors (with the Saab emblem on the can) mentions in a corner "manufactured by Castrol". 15-40 sounds ok, making for safe behaviour in a wide temperature range. If you live somewhere hot and humid, it's just perfect. Heavy winters would necessitate something else, though.... If you go for spirited driving, consider changing oil every 7000 Km or so. Auto or manual? For auto, change ATF every 18000 or so. Both is lower than spec, but I've been repeatedly told this is the best life insurance you can get for this trusty engine. > > 3. The whole seat upholstery (plus head cushions) is leather. Door trim is vinyl, dasboard, too HTH Nikolas Kostakis '97 900 SET Coupe Iraklio, Crete, Greece
