If it is Trionic, then what follows is applicable. I just looked up section 1:5 Diagnostic. When you turn ignition on, after about 6 seconds, the check engine light goes out for a moment before lighting for 3 seconds. Then flash code follows. 3 flashes indicates a condition for the intake air temperature sensor. The manual then refers further to page 85 in section 2:7 of the manual for diagnosis.
