Hi all, I know from the archives that one or two have had problems with reverse gear in the past, but I cannot find a definitive answer to their questions. I have a UK spec 1995 2.5 Saab 900 , whose reverse gear will engage and then start to move the car back. However before the clutch is fully lifted it will pop out (even though the gear stick hasn't moved), a short noise also accompanies the 'pop'! Will adjustment of the linkage help, or if it is likely to be be something internal to the gearbox, is there an easy way to get the gearbox out!. Could someone also suggest a UK discounted parts company. Many thanks if anyone can help
